The 2011 Veterans Day events took place on Thursday, Nov 10 through Sunday Nov 13.

The Gold Star Mothers Distinguished Service Medal was awarded to
Charlie Harootunian (left) and Red Flegal (right) by Andrew Chernak. The
medal is awarded to individuals or organizations who distinguish themselves
by supporting American Gold Star Mothers with service, financial aid, or other
assistance that help educate the public about Gold Star Mothers and
furthers the good works of our organization.
