All members and associate members of the American Gold Star Mothers are invited to attend.

After careful consideration of the expense of having the meeting at last year’s location, (they wanted us to guarantee over $500 for the use of the hotel. It just isn’t in the budget), we have chosen a satisfactory replacement. The Greater Harrisburg Chapter has used the community room upstairs in the Giant Supermarket for some time and it is wonderful. So instead of major bucks for coffee and tea at the hotel, we can spring for a tray of cookies and fruit for under $50 dollars. A real bargain.

If you want to eat a little lunch before the meeting, the hot and cold food bars in the store are excellent. We will start at 1 pm and hope to conclude the meeting by 4:00 pm. If you would like to stay for dinner there are several local restaurants near the shopping center.

In the tradition of the American Gold Star Mothers, white daytime attire is recommended for the meeting on Sunday but not a requirement.

On the agenda will be election of officers, fund raising, the upcoming National Convention and nominations from our Dept to serve on the National board. If you are unable to attend, please send your committee reports to be included in the minutes.
