The MVC will begin issuing NJ Gold Star plates on Friday, May 20, 2011. Watch for your plate in the mail. You may put them on your car immediately. A new registration card should be enclosed. Return your old plate to the DMV and get a receipt. Try to get your plates on the road for Memorial Day.

Thanks to all our supporters who so diligently pursued this mission.

Now that the ground hog did see his Shadow on February 2, I am sure you are all looking forward to the end of snow, ice and cold weather. I know I am!!! I also look forward to daylight saving time which starts on March 9th.

The “not so busy” months of January and February are soon behind us and the upcoming events are posted below for the months of March and April. Please mark your calendars and hope you will consider attending them.

The Dept. of NJ supports the Arkansas Run for the Fallen and wishes Bubba Beason, event planner, on his 3rd annual event. Bubba has done so much to support the NJ Gold Star Families when he was stationed at the Joint Base MDL. Thank you Bubba and Good Luck for another successful Run to all those who help.

The Beef & Beer that was held for the NJRFTF on Feb. 8th at the Bayview, Wildwood Crest was a huge success. Thank you to Eileen Kreis and all those who attended.

Remember, dedication is not what others expect of you, dedication is what you can do for others.
