Status of NJ Gold Star Family License Plate

New Jersey finally has a Gold Star Family license plate. More...

Apply for your NJ Gold Star Family license plate.

The MVC will begin issuing NJ Gold Star plates on Friday, May 20, 2011. Watch for your plate in the mail. You may put them on your car immediately. A new registration card should be enclosed. Return your old plate to the DMV and get a receipt. Try to get your plates on the road for Memorial Day.

  • Sept 20, 2014 - 63rd Annual Gold Star Parents and Gold Star Wives Luncheon. VFW Post 2179, 1 Veterans Lane, Route 36, Port Monmouth on Saturday at 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Please RSVP by Sept. 10th by returning the invitation you received in the mail. Please bring an unwrapped gift for the raffle table which supports our Veterans at Lyons Hospital for the Holiday party and their Wish List.
  • Sept 21, 2014 - Rolling Thunder Chapter 2 NJ Freedom Ride. If any of you would like to ride you must contact Brenda Einhorn at 609-330-0040 to arrange for your escort and details. Please consider this, it is exciting.

  • Sept 26-28, 2014 - Gold Star Mothers weekend in Washington, DC. All details for this event have been sent to you in a formal invitation and also in the Gold Star Mother magazine. You must make your own arrangements and reservations for the dinner on Saturday evening.

  • Oct 18, 2014 - 8th Annual Gold Star Ruck March to honor the sacrifices of our Gold Star Families hosted by the McGuire First Sergeant Council. This is located at the 621st Global readiness Deployment Center, Building 3404 Neely Road, JB MDL, NJ. More details to follow. Please mark your calendar for this very special day. It is a lot of fun. You will need to RSVP to 1st Sgt. Adam – 609-203-0264. He will be sending out invitations, so please contact him after you receive it.

GSM's Help Celebrate Army's 239th Birthday, June 12, 2014

A ceremony for the Army's 239th Birthday was held at Wurman Hall, Fort Dix, NJ.
The Honor and Remember Flag will be on display along with the Gold Star framed
photo within this historic building. We thank the Army for their continued support
as well as the rest of the JB MDL.
