Welcome to the Wichita KS Chapter of American Gold Star Mothers, Inc.  We are mothers of the Fallen Military standing tall and proud, preserving the very principles our children served, fought and died for.  We welcome you to join us in supporting our Veterans and Soldiers. Forever promoting patriotism in honor of our children.

Our chapter president, Anita Dixon, is also the President of Operation Freedom Memorial Foundation, Inc. A beautiful new War Memorial is being designed and developed by Anita to Honor all of the Kansas Soldiers that gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country and represent all of those that served during and in these wars of Conflict.

  • Nov 11, 2011 - Many Veterans Day celebrations, attend one of your choice.

  • Nov 19, 2011 Saturday - Big Red Turkey Day. Ft. Riley Wounded Warrior Battalion. Thanksgiving trimmings for the families. Financial and/or food donations accepted. Call Anita if you want to travel up for this day event.

  • Nov 23, 2011 Wednesday - Robert J. Dole Veterans Blood Drive. All help is appreciated.

  • Dec 10, 2011 - Saturday Wreaths Across America. Wichita Chapter sponsors Winfield Veterans Cemetery in Winfield, KS.
